 Bugs in Chests?
Author: WeBBi (---.dialin.msh.de)

Hiya,
Why can't I wrap up any boxes, bags or chests into my bag of my Character?
In it Ultima 7 originally could one wrap everything up (also chests ...) and comes onto Exult at many because
One cannot objects for a fault for it wrap this one up (also at chests).
Is this a fault or does this come still?

Sorry for my english grammar...

I actually enjoy your way of speaking, its unique, and a mystery to understand :P anyway, this is probly due to the fact that it is not realistic to be able to put a box in a small bag, nor is it realistic to put a backpack in a bag, so Exult has "fixed" this bug, in other words, you'll have to put your bags in your boxes or backpack, and your boxes in your backpack, and your backpack on your character. Sorry if that was confusing =p

You can't put a larger container into a smaller container. This was how the original BG and SI did things, and it's how we do it.

What about the corpse container? Couldn't do that in SI, now I think you can.

Can't make it so that I can put a bag (and / or a backpack) in my inventory?
It would then be better than now.
So I can sort my items in other bag's (and / or backpacks).

You can already put a bag in your backpack if there is enough room left.

Try emptying out your inventory and putting the bag in.
I remember in U8 you could put two bags in a backpack, you should be able to put atleast two in your back pack in U7 for realism...

I remember J.P. Morris came up with an interesting solution to the limited space of
your bag. What you do is throw away your backpack, and replace it with a crate.
It weighs more, but you can fit a lot more stuff in it.
I've never tried it in SI, but when I switched BG over to Paperdoll mode the Avatar
was still carrying the crate on his back.

There's the blue line connecting the icon of the crate to the back-slot.
