Install issues on Mac OSX Lion

Hi everyone,
Apologies in advance for an overly simple question - I have used and enjoyed Exult quite a lot on Win machines, but this is my first time using it on the Mac. I am embarrassed to say I am stumped after getting the download - I have tried both the RC and the newer Snapshot, and the contents of the .dmg have the Exult app and various docs. I run the app, but none of the Library directories, or .cfg files or anything gets created. Is there something else that needs doing to 'install' Exult on OSX? (without any .cfg file or anything, I can't get to the point of being able to point Exult to my U7 data). So, any help on what's the first thing one should do after downloading Exult would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

The ~/library folder is hidden on Lion. In Finder click on "go to" while holding the option/alt key to see it among the other special folders you can click.

But if you put the games in /library/application support/exult (this in the root of your mac hd and not hidden on lion, ~library is in your user folder) as described in the docs, you don't even need to edit exult.cfg as nearly everything can be configured in game.
