 Faces, animation

Here is a question for those who develop Exult or have knowledge of it:

Is it possible to add a feature to Exult to allow attributes to be ticked for faces in the same way as objects? I would like to see if faces could be animated. I have a couple of frames of BG Iolo looking right and then closing his eyelids (I chose BG Iolo because of the few pixels & because he joins you right off). I think that animating eyes & what not would help to bring conversations to life.

In the usecode for the conversation with an NPC when you show an NPC face you could set it to show a random face with eyes open or closed or looking really angry, and even match certain faces to branch choices.
Or, did you mean that if the dialogue is open, even without any branches being selected, the face would blink and what not?

The dialogue would be open, so that if the player left their computer, the faces would still cycle through frames... if possible. The effect would be similar to faces in Jagged Alliance 2 & Wolfenstein 3d.

If it isn't currently possible, I am sure that it could be implemented. Damn my lack of coding knowledge!

Fwiw that would be really cool IMO.

I do hope that it is possible to implement. Faces can be quickly animated with subtle changes to a few pixels & use of the perspective tool in the Gimp.
