mouse pointer choppy?

mouse pointer is choppy. speed is fine, but the movement resolution is pretty low, making it diff to center up on targets.

is there a way to make it less choppy?

so playing fullscreen reduced the framerate of the mouse. playing in a window at the same screen res i guess uses the os and gives the mouse a finer resolution.
