Big plot stopping bug in Exult

Hi

I found a big bug while playing Ultima7 Part 1. When you talk to the mayor after you complete your investigation in Trinsic he tells you that before he can give you the password to leave you must answer some questions. When he asks you for the longitude & latittude of some location he tells you to check your cloth map for the coordinates but when I check the map there are no coordinates. Now I`m stuck in Trinsic, what should I do?

You have to check your real cloth map that came with the game. Or if you own the Ultima Collection or another later CD-Rom version, there are some documents including either as paper or as files on the CDs.

If you downloaded Ultima 7 you are on your own as we don't provide support for illegal copies of Ultima 7.

you need the Ultima 7 cloth map.
What version of U7 do you have? Unless it is the floppy disk version you should have the answers on your CD-Rom, I think.

Something that hasn't been explicitly stated yet and I think Garamond might not be fully understanding.

The Latitude/Longitude questions aren't just an annoying feature of the game, they are copy protection. They are there specifically to make sure that you have a legitimate retail copy of the game, not simply an attempt to add realism or something.

Also, while this is the only question involving the map, it isn't the last copy protection in the game for which you will need information that came packaged with the game.
