"Still everything is pointing at some problems with your computer, since no one else had this problem in the last 18 years, and it's working on your other computer.
Even if you know what you are doing, it's a good idea to ask someone else to look at it when you can't find what's wrong."
Wellsir ... that's why I be here :D... I don't think the geeks on the computer help forums are going to know since I believe this is related to the game. Not so much exult, but the game itself. However as I stated before, the firefox browser is doing that compatibility check each time it opens and I feel it is related to the exult readme file.
It's definitely something related to the OS and browser on this particular computer since the others run the program just file, but I didn't have that delete episode as I did on the problem computer.
I need to figure out how to clean everything out and start all over again without having to format the HHD and do a fresh reinstall of the OS.
I'll ask the geeks about it, but I'm not expecting much.
" Also not that on Windows 2000, XP, Vista and 7 you can quickly access this folder by executing "shell:Local AppData\Exult" in the "Run" entry of the Startmenu (or the "Run or Search" entry of the Windows Vista and 7 Startmenu)."
The only reason that file is in that location is I took it from a computer with the working game and put it in manually. It will not let me put any of the exult files in the program files (x86) posted the error earlier. And check this out ... even though the gamesave from the other computer is there ... it will not use it. It goes to the game save ... where ever that is ... that was there in the first place. Now that's just plain weird.
"Does the installer prompt via UAC to request user credentials?"
Yes it does.
